Bio Vittorio Muò

An unconventional and multidisciplinary artist, Vittorio Muò is a concert performer, composer, producer and orchestra conductor, and a former professor at the Conservatorio di Torino.

From an early age he developed a strong inclination toward both visual art and music. While music became his primary professional path, his interest in visual art has always remained an integral part of his creative vision, often appearing directly or indirectly within his musical productions.

Deeply attracted to avant-garde experimentation and multimedia languages, Muò has developed a distinctive artistic approach that, while rooted in classical traditions, is expressed through the use of advanced audio and video technologies.

In recent years his focus on visual art has become increasingly central to his work, leading him to explore the concept of “total art”, inspired by the vision of Richard Wagner, where music, poetry, visual arts and technological innovation converge within a unified artistic experience.

Through installations, large-scale tableaux and happenings, Muò creates innovative performances in which visual art interacts with different media, developing artistic narratives that transform classical roots into contemporary forms of expression characterized by a strong drive toward experimentation and innovation
